Kolourmeim's 2000 edition of Journey to the End is the first edition of the poems of John Hoffman, long-legendary as the poems read by Philip Lamantia at the Six Gallery reading at which Allen Ginsberg debuted Howl. Printed on speckled light-grey paper with vellum wraps over white cardstock, Journey to the End has become one of the most sought-after and collectible titles among Kolourmeim’s limited editions, commanding high prices on the rare book market.

This volume, slightly expanded, has been incorporated into the more generally available Pocket Poets #59, Tau by Philip Lamantia and Journey to the End by John Hoffman (City Lights, 2008).
